This redevelopment project for the Savannah College of Art and Design is situated on a prominent site overlooking Pulaski Square in Savannah’s Historic district. This three-story 2,700 square foot residence includes large porches with a garden and a carriage house and guest suite. The plan opens directly to the side porches, maximizing the connection between interior and exterior space and Savannah’s pristine gardens. Employing the use of traditional building details gives the residence distinctive historic character.
